1 Overview GeoXfere is an experienced company in the development of integrated mobile software
solutions that enable mobile workforces to have anytime, anywhere access to vital information
in real-time with all the operational efficiencies and control of an office environment without
the need to being restricted to one physical location.
GeoXfere has undertaken extensive research and development into wireless technology and to how this ubiquitous business tool can be used to reduce administrative overheads, operational and telecom costs, and help streamline sales and order processes within organisations with large and dispersed mobile workforces.

2 Company’s RoadMap GeoXfere started operations in Ireland and quickly started development centers in Spain,
Poland and Pakistan, which become different business units.
GeoXfere has operations in Ireland, Spain and Poland.
GeoXfere, in Ireland, participated in a year long start-up incubation support programme called the M50 Enterprise Platform Programme which is run in conjunction with Enterprise Ireland and the following: Institute of Technology, Blanchardstowm, IT Tallaght and Dublin City University.
In Spain, participated in SACME program (Service for Aide to Creation of Micro Companies) dependant of CREA (Confederation of companies). Also as a CEEI project, reached the final in the IDEA contest, organised by CEEI Aragón. Suported by IMEFEZ Institute, obtained the certification I+E from INAEM. Currently we are associated to AEIA (IT companies association) and colaborate with the University of Zaragoza via UNIVERSA, private University Fundación San Valero (CES-IT) and the CREA association.
Currently Pakistan is a website development center for UK market, Poland just as independent
development center and Spain the main branch as Comercial&Development&Research engine.
The strategy of GEOXFERE in these days is to provide full solutions for the markets that attacks with most sophisticated marketing techniques: Telemarketing, Web 2.0, CRM, etc are examples of how GEOXFERE manages their leads and accounts.

Geoxfere’s has developed its own Application’s Server Engine which allows rapid applications development and which is explained in next chapter, that takes advantage of all the previous list in order to have the best solution for all markets, from small companies to big organizations as it is fully open and scalable, always, having as main target and focus on positioning, localization and mobility management.

3 Applications and communications server Geoxfere has its own application server that enables the company to develop very fast
applications even starting from scratch.
Advanced, powerful and modern, it meets the latest industry standards.
- "Multiplatform". It is compatible with any operating system and the kernel is Java
standard, so that it is also compatible with any application server, including, of course
with GEOXFERE's one.
- "Flexible and open." Dividing the system into layers allows:
o Be able to work with any database (MySQL, Oracle, IBM DB2, Microsoft
SQLServer, etc).

o Connect to different types of client applications: Desktop, Pda, Web or mobile
Phones.
o Integration and synchronization with other systems via a two-way business
layer, allowing access with security and avoiding direct connection to
databases
- “Virtual-Office”. VPN proprietary and independent. Allows the implementation and
management of the product in real time from any computer, anywhere with an
Internet connection. The notification system in real time allows extremely efficient
possibilities to multiple users in remote locations to work on the application like from
his office.
- “All-in-One”. Integrated work environment. The product has a unified, modular and
scalable GUI. All modules are integrated in the same environment and future
developments can be added. This improves usability, learning tool by employees,
which ultimately increases productivity and reduces the problems of integration.
- “Automatic User Management”. Each user has a profile defined. In consequence, the
user will have an environment in accordance with the powers and permissions defined
in the profile for each component.

4 Portfolio & Solutions Geoxfere has a very wide portfolio, which allows us to face any kind of project with the best
technological solutions.
4.1 GEOXSERVER. Applications Server It is our applications engine, as explained in previous chapter, it is fully developed in Java
Standard and allows us not only to host several distributed services but also integrate and
synchronize with other third applications or databases.
4.2 GEOXDESKTOP. Thick JAVA client for professional applications. Java Application that is automatically remotely deployed and maintained, which the main
advantage is that the maps are in local, which makes application work very fast and not
depending on internet availability.
We include a license per computer. Maps are
in local, which allows working in laptops or
stations even with a very low connectivity
bandwidth.
4.3 GEOXWEB. Web Access. It is a web application where users can Access from anywhere, just by using their browser.

We have used latest cutting edge technologies so we have put our application on the top of
the market: JAVASCRIPT+AJAX+JSP+… all hosted in our GEOXSERVER platform so fully
integrated with the rest of the tools. We have not only a very fast solution but also ergonomic
and easy-to-use.
Now we have the most sophisticated web application for gps tracking, and we can match it
against any competitor.
4.3.1 Access from a PDA or Smartphone.
It is an special website where we can we see the devices but with PDA format,
therefore visible and manageable from any smartphone.
4.4 GEOXBERRY Propietary software ready to use in Blackberry, Nokia and Windows Mobile for monitorisation,
localization of people.

4.5 GEOXARGOS Solution to be installed in a car, telemetry, video-recording, and many other features that can
be usually installed and used in a police car.

Conclusions The tendency of GEOXFERE, since its creation as business project in Ireland, has been to generate advanced technology in the software field for highly demanding environments, in order to improve the productivity of human and technical resources that are outside of the company’s office. Thus, Geoxfere has worked hard to keep from its origins as private "lab" developer and innovator of solutions. GEOXFERE has had a vision of development trends worldwide.
Geoxfere adopted some technological bets such as Java or Virtualization, which become market trends like other biggest leaders in the world have done: Oracle, IBM, Sun, Google, etc
In the same way, our selection of mobile systems: Symbian, BlackBerry and Windows Mobile, integrated with our online backend technology have strengthened the position of GEOXFERE development platform.
In addition, the use of virtualization, Business Intelligence and CRM provides great productivity to GEOXFERE as it allows the reduction of server costs, maintenance hours and response times to service demands of the potential customers, and less cost of redundant systems. In short, GEOXFERE’s technology is aligned and/or compatible with:
