Thud! Tommy thought he heard a sound. As he listened more carefully he realised it was a distant booming sound. Tommy nudged his sister and looked at the cups. The sound was sending ripples of waves to the edge of the cups. The lawyer was being revived by the sound, and immediately started making up excuses that it was just the power turning back on, when really he knew this sound wasn’t human.

Tommy swung round, put the night vision goggles on and looked in the direction of the goat, who was nowhere to be seen. All that was left was a bare chain rattling in the wind. What had happened? The goat was gone. Everybody started to tense, as the goat’s leg appeared on top of the sunroof, forcing Amber to jump in shock and fear. She didn’t think she could be any more scared, but then two claws emerged from the bushes on to the fence. The power had been turned off.

In immediate horror, the lawyer fled from the car, leaving the kids stranded and helpless. Amber and Tommy spun around only to see that the T-rex was breaking through the wires, like it was a wall of tissue paper. That was it! The dinosaur had broken through, baring his blood stained teeth in a loud roar.

Amber scrambled to the back and frantically started to look for a torch. Unfortunately she found one and shone it on the T-rex, thinking it would scare him away, but that was her mistake. Attracted by the light the T-rex lifted his heavy-weight-like feet towards the car. Immediately the beast started to investigate the weird object, staring curiously at the light that was dilating his eyes. Amber and Tommy were scared. They didn’t know what to do and fighting over the torch wasn’t helping.
