Dear lan:
I was unable to complete the Max Min Survey at your Wiley B*y claimgdue to a number of adverse conditions.
1. The rock faces of the south facing cliffs were iced up due to the mild weather encountered just before we started the survey.
2. The hoop man resigned from the job when one of the helpers fell from a cliff and broke his ankle.
3. The steep hills and cliffs on the remaining work requires a 4 man crew which we had employed part way to the work.
My recommendation is that we return on the spring ice when the snow has melted down and the cliffs are dry. We were unable to negotiate any of the cliffs encountered on both the north and south sides of the neck of land on claim fs 978504 and 978505. I will be able to provide four men and camp on or about the third week of March to complete the Survey.
Hoping this arrangement is satisfactory .and work will proceed weather and conditions permitting. Meanwhile, I will retain your deposit of $5,000.00 and would want settlement in full on completion.
Yours truly,
Harry S. Nilsson
GEOPHYSICS REPORTfor the
WILEY BAY PROJECT
18 July 1991
Report prepared for: Mr. lan McLandress, Property Holder,
By: Chris D. Anderson, Ph.D.,P. Eng.Consultant,
The property was visited by the author (Chris D. Anderson), Keith G. Metcalfe (Geologist), and Mr. lan McLandress on July 9-1O, 1991. The author did not direct the geophysical surveys in the field but it in my professional judgement they were conducted in keeping with proper survey methods.
A Max/Min HLEM survey has been conducted on the claim group and this report will cover this data and relates it to the Magnetic and VLF surveys reported by George C. Sharpe (March 199O).
The Max/Min survey covered the complete grid area used for the earlier geophysical work. The coil spacing used was 1OO meters with readings taken every 100 feet (approx. 3O meters) along the grid lines. Two frequencies were used: 1777 Hz. and 444 Hz..
The Max/Min horizontal electromagnetic system (HLEM) measures the in-phase (or Real) component and the out-of-Phase (or Quadrature) component of the received signal. Symbols used for these components are 'R' and 'Q' respectively.
The overburden and lake bottom effects present in the VLF data are significantly reduced by use of the Max/Min system primarily due to the much lower operating frequency. The VLF frequency is approximately 2O,OOO Hz. while the Max/Min frequency is 1777 Hz..
The terrain in the survey area is quite rugged in places giving rise to spacing and orientation noise in the in phase (R) component. To compensate for this effect the following calculation was done:
Bee the attached sketch map for the approximate location of these anomalies.
In general, the anomalies that have both an in phase and out-of-phase (i.e. RQ) response have the characteristics of a steeply dipping bedrock conductor. The Q anomalies are less definite but may represent a shear or weakly mineralized zone. All responses are only moderate to weak.
The Max/Min HLEM anomalies all have a corresponding VLF response but the lake bottom and overburden response also present on the VLF map confuse the VLF interpretation.
The magnetic, data map shows the regional trend of the geology. In the judgement of this author, the 1OO foot spacing used in the magnetic survey was to large to give an accurate picture of the localized geology.

RECOMMENDATIONS:
1. Where it hasn't already been done, close prospecting should be carried out on the south shore of Hatmakers Lake between Lines 88W and 84W. Also on the south shore where Lines 72W, 68W, 60W intersect the shoreline. Also Line 4BW at stations 8N-1ON and 21N plus Line 4OW(13S) and Line 36W(11S).
These locations correspond to sites where Max/Min responses are accessible on land.
2. Conduct a magnetic survey of the property at a close spacing along the survey lines. Recommended spacing is about 5 meters if the survey costs are not prohibitive.
3. Ttie only additional work other than drilling for further evaluation of the anomalies under the water is a winter IP survey and lake bottom sampling.
4. When they are received, the assay results of all sampling done on the property should guide the future work that is done.
