Unit 2: Transformations, Materials & Lumber

Summative Project: Miniature Golf Hole● End Goal: To create multiple hole-in-one routes with 12 square feet

of OSB○ Geometry Concepts:

■ Reflections, Similarity, Surface Area○ Building Trades Concepts:

■ Accurately use power tools, measure and layout hole■ Reuse salvaged lumber effectively, perspective views

● Students make a design on ¼ grid paper, miniature model, and actual scale model (Paper: ¼” = 2”, Model: 1:4)
