• Geography helps us to understand modern South America.
CAUSE AND EFFECT
• Cause- when 2 earths plates collide and pushed and upward.
• Effect-It will create volcanoes that are boundaries of volcanoes in the Andes
CAUSE AND EFFECT
• Cause-Patagonia is high, cold, and barren area.
• Effect-The harsh environment dose not support much life.

• Amazon river is the worlds second largest river.
• South America has three other big river basin.
• South America has plains as well as mountains and rivers.

• One dry place is the Atacama desert
• Blowing drifts of sand ,salt and minerals cover the land

• Effect-Not every rural people cant always get jobs when they reach urban areas

• The Pampass and Patagonia regions are large and empty.

• People have farmed and raised livestock in the Andes.
• They grow their own fruits and vegetables.
• They hunt for fish and meat.
