The ark would be a picture of how Jesus would save mankind from the judgment of sin.

God told Noah to build an ark (tebah), which is a box (tebah), not a ship (tsiy).

Jesus said that Noah entered into the ark (kibotos), which is a box (kibotos) not a ship (ploion). Matthew 24:38

The ark is to be 450 feet long, 75 feet wide, and 45 feet high. Genesis 6:15

Noah was 600 years 2 months and 17 days old when the flood started. Genesis 7:5-11

It took Noah 120 years to build the ark.

After Noah, his family, and all the living creatures were in the ark, God shut the door. Genesis 7:16
