IF ANY REMAINING SERVICES, PIPES, DUCTS, DUCT INSULATION OR EQUIPMENT ARE DAMAGED IN APPEARANCE, OR BECOMES UNSERVICEABLE DUE TO CONTRACTOR OPERATIONS, THE CONTRACTOR SHALL REPLACE WITH NEW PRODUCTS OF EQUAL CAPACITY AND QUALITY. 2. COORDINATE WITH THE CONTRACTING OFFICER FOR SCHEDULING SHUT DOWNS, OUTAGES, CAPPING, OR ANY DISCONTINUATION OF UTILITY SERVICES BEFORE PERFORMING ANY WORK. 3. COORDINATE WITH THE CONTRACTING OFFICER FOR ALL TEMPORARY PARTITIONS AND MEANS OF EGRESS RESULTING FROM DEMOLITION OPERATIONS. 4. COORDINATE WITH THE CONTRACTING OFFICER ON MEANS OF PROTECTION FOR ITEMS TO REMAIN AND ITEMS IN PATH OF WASTE REMOVAL FROM THE FACILITY. 6. NOTIFY THE CONTRACTING OFFICER OF DISCREPANCIES BETWEEN EXISTING CONDITIONS AND DRAWINGS BEFORE PROCEEDING WITH DEMOLITION. 7. DEMOLISH AND REMOVE EXISTING CONSTRUCTION ONLY TO THE EXTENT AS INDICATED. USE METHODS REQUIRED TO COMPLETE WORK WITHIN LIMITATIONS OF GOVERNING REGULATIONS AND AS FOLLOWS: A. HOLES IN WALLS AND FLOORS SHALL BE CUT NEATLY WITH STRAIGHT AND PLUMB EDGES. PROCEED WITH DEMOLITION SYSTEMATICALLY; NEATLY CUT OPENINGS AND HOLES PLUMB; AND SQUARE TRUE TO DIMENSIONS REQUIRED. USE CUTTING METHODS LEAST LIKELY TO DAMAGE NEW CONSTRUCTION. USE HAND TOOLS OR SMALL POWER TOOLS DESIGNED FOR SAWING OR GRINDING. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL MINIMIZE HAMMERING AND CHOPPING TO REDUCE DISTURBANCE TO ADJACENT SURFACES. TEMPORARILY COVER OPENINGS. B. CUT OR DRILL FROM THE EXPOSED OR FINISHED SIDE INTO CONCEALED SURFACES TO AVOID MARRING EXISTING FINISHED SURFACES. C. DO NOT USE CUTTING TORCHES OR GRINDING EQUIPMENT UNTIL WORK AREA IS CLEARED OF FLAMMABLE MATERIALS. AT CONCEALED SPACES, SUCH AS DUCT INTERIORS AND PIPE INTERIORS, VERIFY CONDITIONS AND CONTENTS OF HIDDEN SPACE BEFORE STARTING FLAME-CUTTING OR GRINDING OPERATIONS. MAINTAIN A FIRE WATCH AND PORTABLE FIRE- SUPPRESSION DEVICES DURING FLAME-CUTTING OR GRINDING OPERATIONS. CONTRACTOR SHALL OBTAIN ALL REQUIRED BURN PERMITS BEFORE ANY OF THIS WORK IS PERFORMED. D. MAINTAIN ADEQUATE VENTILATION WHEN USING CUTTING TORCHES AND GRINDING. E. REMOVE DECAYED, VERMIN-INFESTED, OR OTHERWISE DANGEROUS OR UNSUITABLE MATERIAL AND PROMPTLY DISPOSE OF OFF-SITE. F. DEMOLISHED MATERIAL AT ALL ELEVATIONS ABOVE FINISHED FLOOR SHALL BE LOWERED TO GROUND BY METHODS SUITABLE TO AVOID FREE FALL AND PREVENT GROUND IMPACT AND DUST GENERATION. G. AT ALL ELEVATIONS ABOVE FINISHED FLOOR, LOCATE DEMOLISHED EQUIPMENT, DEBRIS AND MATERIALS SO AS NOT TO IMPOSE EXCESSIVE LOADS ON SUPPORTING WALLS, FLOORS, ROOFS OR FRAMING. GENERAL NOTES: 8. REMOVE ALL PLUMBING FIXTURE CARRIERS AND SUPPORTS SERVING DEMOLISHED FIXTURES. 16. DOCUMENT CONDITION OF EXISTING HVAC EQUIPMENT AND ASSOCIATED COMPONENTS PRIOR TO CONSTRUCTION. FIELD MEASURE CAPACITIES AND FLOW RATES OF EXISTING AHU'S. REPORT DATA TO CONTRACTING OFFICER TO VERIFY THE PERFORMANCE REQUIREMENTS CAN BE ACHIEVED. GENERAL NOTES - RENOVATION: 1. 10. DUCT SHALL BE FABRICATED PER SMACNA-HVAC DUCT CONSTRUCTION STANDARDS -METAL AND FLEXIBLE.

11. PROVIDE INSULATED TRAPPED CONDENSATION DRAIN PIPING, WITH AIR GAPS, FROM COOLING COIL DRAIN PANS TO FLOOR DRAIN, ROOF DRAIN, OR OTHER TERMINATION AS SHOWN ON DRAWINGS.

SEQUENCE OF OPERATION:CRAC UNIT

THE CRAC UNIT SHALL BE ON AT ALL TIMES WHEN ANY OF THE THE DATA RACKS ARE POWERED ON.THE CRAC UNIT SHALL BE OPERATED WITH A CONSTANT STATIC PREESURE NOT TO EXCEED 1.5 INCHES W.G.

ZONE TEMPERATURE CONTROL-VAV'S

WHEN THE CRAC UNIT SHALL IS ON THE ZONE TEMPERATURE SETPOINT SHALL BE AT THE CONFIGURED SETPOINT OR AT THE OCCUPANT-ADJUSTABLE SETPOINT VIA THE WALL-MOUNTED THERMOSTAT.

THE CONTROLLER SHALL MODULATE THE VAV BOX DAMPER TO MAINTAIN VAV BOX SUPPLY AIR FLOW AT SETPOINT AS MEASURED BY A MULTI-POINT FLOW SENSING ELEMENT AT THE INLET TO THE VAV BOX. SEQUENCING SHALL BE AS SHOWN: UPON A RISE IN ZONE TEMPERATURE ABOVE ZONE TEMPERATURE SETPOINT, SUBJECT TO THE ZONE TEMPERATURE SETPOINT DEADBAND, THE AIRFLOW SETPOINT SHALL BE ADJUSTED BETWEEN MINIMUM AND MAXIMUM FLOW BASED ON THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN ZONE TEMPERATURE AND ZONE TEMPERATURE SETPOINT AS SHOWN. UPON A FALL IN ZONE TEMPERATURE BELOW ZONE TEMPERATURE SETPOINT, SUBJECT TO THE DEADBAND AS SHOWN, THE AIRFLOW SHALL BE MAINTAINED AT A FIXED AIR FLOW SETPOINT.
