Gauntlet LCD Console Wiring

Gauntlet (9-5250)

This document goes over the wiring of the Gauntlet LCD console including the internal boards.

When installing the Gauntlet LCD console onto the Gauntlet (9-5250), you will see 5 wire harnesses coming out of the neck of the machine please note that the 3.5mm headphone and supplementary power wires (crossed by a red “X”) are not used on the LCD display (Fig. 1)

Each component of the LCD console has a corresponding PCB allowing for greater modularity and ease of replacement. Please note that each PCB (except for the status LCD and wireless PCB) also have a corresponding ground that must be connected using one of two grounding wire harnesses in the LCD console. Two of the ground connections (one on each harness) are not used when installing the LCD console and are only used on the touchscreen consoles.
