8 Years old Jeetu was found in a battered and tattered state, severely malnourished with

a crush injury on Right leg. Due to his health condition, he felt isolated as he could not

walk properly like a normal child that led to stubbornness and attention-seeking behavior.

We counseled Jeetu so that he could let go of his fears and realized that we can bring

about a major change in his life by getting his leg operated so that he could enjoy his

childhood. He was operated at Crosslay Hospital Vaishali.

Today, after the surgery, Jeetu just cannot stop smiling as he can envisage a life which he

has always dreamt of. This is the major turning

point in his life therefore we would like to mould

this child into someone who would be as strong as a

rock which could defy every storm that comes its

way.

The aim of every NGO is to serve the community. The purpose of

interaction among NGOs is to enhance our services towards the

community. Unity among NGOs can help eradicate the problems

faced by the people of our country and build a strong foundation

for them for a better future.

On 2nd December 2011, we invited different NGOs across Delhi

to promote their organizations by putting up stalls at Bal Sahyog.

The following NGOs participated:

Arpana Trust, Sampurna, CFM, Chetnalaya, Diya, IndCare, SSMI,

Sukarya, EFRAH, SDSDA, Srijanatmak Manushi Sanstha, Sakshi,

Amar Jyoti, Noida Lok Manch, Pratisthayuva Sangthan, NAB, Dev

Bhumi, Abhas and Angja Foundation.

This was a very fruitful event as we learnt a lot about the

services conducted by other NGOs and beautiful products made

by them.

Cine Art 2011 Film Making Leadership

Project for Design for Change provided an

opportunity to all major schools and NGOs

all over Delhi by inviting the children for

film making workshops to show their talent.

We selected eight children, Jitender,

Shivam, Om Prakash, Nurul, Monu, Manoj,

Raja and Ajay from our organization for the

workshop.

These children along with students of DAV

Public School, Vasant Kunj were to make a

film on ‘CHILD LABOR’. The movie was to

last for a minute and was to convey the strong message to stop CHILD LABOR. The

children along with the other students of DAV Public School with the guidance of Mr.

Wency, our director did an exceptional good job which led to receiving an award for their

movie. The award was handed over by ‘Rahul Bose’ a renowned actor.

This was a very proud moment for our organization as our children made us proud.

goodies. Every month, there was a different flavor of

cakes which was relished by everyone.

DIWALI!!! Season of sweets…festival of lights…

It is the most celebrated festival of India

where the whole

country is lit up to

welcome Goddess

Laxmi. On 25th

their best attire. Children lit candles, burst crackers and had

Children’s Day…This is the most important day for every child in

this country. Late Jawahar Lal Nehru (Chachaji) loved children so

(Children’s Day). On this day every child is given royal treatment &

is forgiven for all the naughtiness committed in the past.
