GENDER refers to the socially constructed roles,

behaviors, activities, and attributes that a

given society considers appropriate for

men and women.

"Male" and "female" are sex

categories, while "masculine" and

"feminine" are gender categories.

Be respectful and open to the other person’s communication style and values

Work on compromise to bring out the strengths of the communication style
