Th e truth is we have been General Conferencing since early
2020. In order to stay connected during the pandemic and
accommodate virtual business meetings in manageable periods
of times, we've already had three early sittings of General
Conference and three town hall meetings. With most of the
elections and business of General Conference already completed,
the actual June 5-6 event is primarily about remembering our
FMCiC story, and the FMCiC Th ree Year Ministry Plan.
Th e upside to a virtual General Conference? You can participate
in as many workshops as you would like, and there are many!
Th ank you in advance for your full engagement in General
Conference 2021.

tion THIS ART GALLERY AND AUCTION FEATURES
THE WORK OF CREE ARTIST OVIDE BIGHETTY.
In 2002, The Indigenous Christian Fellowship (ICF), a Canadian Indigenous urban ministry serving the spiritual and social needs of Indian and Metis people of Regina, Saskatchewan, commissioned Ovide to depict the vision that an elder had of The Creator’s Sacrifi ce (the Easter story or the passion of Jesus Christ).
Ovide accepted the challenge to paint the story in a fashion consistent with both the accounts in the gospels and aboriginal culture. You can view the Art Gallery and participate in the auction at fmcic.ca/auction.
The starting bid for each of these banners is $60 which covers not only the printing on archival cotton canvas but the hanging rails so that it is ready to display, and shipping.
All proceeds from the auction go back to support the ministry of the Indigenous Christian Fellowship.
The art gallery will remain open for the year but the silent auction will close on June 18th.

It is our privilege to honour
the lives of the men and
women among us who have
answered the call to full-time

Lord has used these servants
in a variety of ways to
establish the foundations
upon which we build today.
May their examples of
