Be a successful Gatton Studentselective admissions Requirement for Upper division: 2.8

Cumulative GPa and 2.8 Pre-major GPa. in other words—aim

for (at least) all B’s!

our advisors hold walk-in hours monday-Thursday from 1-4pm

each week. our advisors are all prepared to assist any student,

so any advisor can help you.

The Graham office of Career management works closely with

our advisors! it’s never too early to work on your resume or

get an internship.

§ Clarify college and university policies and procedures.

§ Provide an overview of curriculum, major and minor options.

§ Help students develop academic and career goals.

§ assist students with methods for working through academic issues.

§ Role model professional behavior for students.

§ make referrals to university support services (tutoring, counseling, etc.).

sTUdenT ResponsIbIlITIes

§ acquaint yourself with your advisor.

§ Check your university email account ([email protected]) regularly for

updates from your advisor and the Gatton College.

§ Come to appointments prepared with any required forms/paperwork.

§ Check your degree audit periodically to track your progress toward

graduation and contact your academic advisor if you find problems.

§ seek assistance as soon as a problem arises. do not wait!

§ identify policies and dates relevant to your academic success

(drop dates, repeat policy, etc.).
