NOx ABATEMENT

Nox is generated by fixation of Nitrogen in combustor

Nox generation depends on

- Flame Temperature

- Retention time in flame zone

- Fuel bound Nitrogen

Nox abatement methods- By steam/water injection in flame zone- By lean pre-mix mode (DLN combustor)- By SCR (Selective Catalytic Reduction)
