Gandhi did not use violence which meant all his protests were non-violent and did not hurt anyone, Indians or British.
Gandhi’s Major Achievements
Gandhi organized the Burning of the Passes in South Africa.
The March of the Mine to stop unfair taxes on Indians.
The Massacre of Amritsar was when a British general shot at a public meeting, there was a lot of fighting and Gandhi fasted until all of the fighting stopped.
Gandhi and 78 others marched 240 miles to a costal town of Dandi where he made salt, this was called the Salt March.
Fighting between Muslims and Hindus happened and Gandhi fasted until it stopped.
Gandhi was shot dead by a Hindu man called Nathuram Godse.
