Try A Skill Event On 20th June, an event called Try a Skill is to be held at the Ourimbah campus. It is an opportunity to hear about various vocations and trades and, in some instance, to actually have a try at some activities related to various vocations. While the types of vocations on display are yet to be confirmed, the list below gives some ideas of those most likely to be scheduled on the day. There will be industry specialists available to answer questions,
demonstrate their trade and provide immediate
feedback for students.
The activities are run in two sessions. An optional excursion from the College will leave school at 11 am in order to attend the second session, returning for 3:!5pm. A free lunch (sausage sizzle) is provided. Students are encouraged to ask questions and be involved trying any activities that are of interest to them. A permission letter will be available in due course. If interested, please see Mr Russell.
