FSU’S RECORD WHEN
Arizona State guard Reili Richardson (4.6 A/T ratio - fifth) and FSU’s AJ Alix (3.8 - 10th) both rank in the Top 10 nationally in assist/turnover ratio.
10A Florida State matchup vs. a Pac-12 opponent is a rarity. Since head coach Sue Semrau came to FSU in 1997, the Seminoles have faced just four Pac-12 teams in Arizona State, Stanford, Washington and Oregon State. 4Counting her double-double last game against Stetson, Chatrice White now has 33 double-doubles as a student-athlete: 24 at Illinois and 9 with Florida State. 33Both Florida State (11.7 turnovers per game - 7th nationally) and Ari-zona State (12.4 turnovers - 15th) rank in the Top 15 in the NCAA in lowest turnovers per game. 15Florida State established season highs on Thursday night in three cat-egories: field goal percentage (53.8 percent), blocked shots (8) and 3-point field goal percentage (50 percent). 3Senior forward Shakayla Thomas is averaging 31.4 points per 40 minutes of play, a mark that ranks as the fourth-highest in the country. 31.4

RADIO/TV INFORMATION2017-18 FSU WOMEN’S BASKETBALL REGULAR SEASON HOME TV SCHEDULE
2017-18 FSU WOMEN’S BASKETBALL ON THE RADIO AT WQTL-FM 106.1Florida State fans can follow the Seminoles whether on the road or at home on the radio station for FSU Women’s Basketball - WQTL (106.1 FM). Every regular season and postseason game can be heard throughout the season, as well as pre-game talk and post-game interviews with head coach Sue Semrau and a few selected student-athletes.
Ariya Massoudi begins his first full season as the official play-by-play man of the Florida State Women’s Basketball team. For Massoudi, who has received both his Bachelors of Arts in Digital Media Production and Sports Management, he gets a chance to work with a program that he is quite familiar with. Mas-soudi handled fill-in duties last season, calling FSU’s 93-47 win at UAB on Dec. 10, 2016 as well as a 102-60 win over Wake Forest on Feb. 9, 2017.
He is no stranger to the game day setup that is involved from many angles, having worked for Seminole Productions as a play-by-play announcer, color analyst, side-line reporter, game day host and on the production team. Like many aspiring students who look to gain experience in sports and media production, Massoudi has taken advantage of what Florida State Athletics has to offer. His play-by-play experience on the ACC Network Extra includes calling Florida State football, men’s and women’s basketball, tennis, baseball and other sports. He has called over 100 games on the ACC Network Extra, which is produced by Seminole Productions, over the last three years.
Massoudi will also be the host of the Sue Semrau Show this upcoming season, which airs regularly on FOX Sports Sun/Florida. Massoudi, who is from Tallahassee and attended Lincoln High School, has also worked as a studio host and halftime analyst for the ACC Network Extra. He gained valuable experience as a student working on video features about Florida State Athletics that were aired as part of the weekly Seminole Sports Magazine show on Saturday mornings on Sun Sports.
Joining Massoudi will be color analyst Melissa Bruner. Bruner is the women’s basketball Director of Basketball Operations and is in her 11th season providing radio and TV analysis for the Seminoles. Bruner also serves as a color analyst for many of Florida State’s ACC Network Extra matchups at home, breaking down each game and giving off her insightful and introspective knowledge of FSU Women’s Basketball.
