There are many obstacles to changing this focus …• Status - “Go hard or go home”• Pride - “Run or Die”• Habit of “Fast”• A culture of fast, competitive and task oriented• Men in groups take more risks• Employee piece rates• Price per volume contractor payments• Contract agreements• You have to be “fast and cost efficient” to make money• We don’t know the alternatives• There will be many more obstacles … it won’t be easy
