GaiaField ground target large range scanning hyperspectral imaging system
Portable design, equipped with long life battery, long time outdoor measurement GaiaField ground targets large range scanning hyperspectral imager using portable design, easy to carry, also equipped with long life rechargeable lithium ion battery, up to 12 hours.
Reflectivity measurement model GaiaField ground target large range scanning hyperspectral imaging system is based on the natural light environment, for the reflectivity measurement of vegetation, lakes, oceans, forest and so on, through the absorption spectrum analysis. The picture on the right is a typical vegetation full-wave band reflection spectrum. With vegetation for example, research shows that, the main influencing factors for vegetation reflectiv-ity are vegetation color characteristics, cell tissue struc-ture and moisture content. For the actual application of crops growth monitoring, usually can use visible - near infrared band (400-1000 nm or 400-1700 nm) for the measurement, chlorophyll monitoring and nitrogen nutri-tion monitoring. From the spectrum, it is blue shift and red edge phenomenon, which reflect the strength of the plant photosynthesis (i.e. plant vigor). Blue shift said weakened vitality. According to the research and applica-tion of some water, usually adopts full band (400-2500 nm) reflectivity spectrum measurement that can reflect water soluble substances, chlorophyll and sus-pended matter situation.
Full-wave band, provide more than 700 spectrum channels GaiaField ground targets large range scanning hyperspectral imaging system used high resolution imaging spectrometer, in visible light band spectral resolution as high as 3 nm, in short wave infrared band can achieve 10 nm spectral resolution, therefore full-wave band can get more than 700 spectrum channels, more spectral channel means more information, which can help the researchers to gain more research de-tails information through the continuous spectrum analysis. Standard three dimensional data cube data format, can be directly processed by the ENVI software.

System Description
GaiaSorter system including homogeneous light source, spectral camera, electric control mobile platform (or belt),
computer and software. Working principle: the light source illuminates the sample which is placed in electric control
mobile platform (or belt). The emitting light from the sample could be captured by the spectral camera, then get the
unidimensional image and spectrum information, with the continuous movement of electric control mobile platform (or
belt), thus can get continuous one dimensional image and real-time spectral information.
All the data are recorded by the computer software, finally get the triaxial data including the image information and
spectral information. With the analysis of the data, you can get the necessary information for the moisture, acidity of
fruits and vegetables and other types of classification, separation information, after follow-up development of the data,
to realize the automatic sorting for objects.
