About us

• Research has shown that gadget usage by the young has adverse effects on their growth and development

• Our project aims to bring about awareness about such behavior, and present alternatives for parents to keep their children entertained

• Organized aiming to trendify the moderate usage of gadgets, and promoting alternatives

• Two-pronged approach – Raising awareness of negative impacts of excess

use of gadgets, hence the importance of moderating it

– Igniting the children’s interest in physical toys

• Production group will go around the carnival to get participants to do a series of tests of their cognitive and motor skills

• Process will be filmed down and screened during the talkshow

• Making of simple handicraft and handmade toys

– E.g. Green Bean Shaker

• Guided by volunteers

• Aim to provide the children an opportunity to pick up handicraft as a hobby

Toys Kit

• Convenient kit that has many portable toys

• Toys target cognitive development

• Provide an alternate source of entertainment to electronic devices

• Toys may be rented on a monthly basis, so that the children are able to change the toys inexpensively every few months

• Mobile rental of toys are made available through Rental Vans

• Vans with the toys would go to different estates and childcare centres for parents to rent and return their toys
