GK999 News Issue 6, 7/7/19

A new PvP map has been built. Players can now fight to their heart’s content. To the left is a breathtaking picture of the PvP arena taken in the daytime.

The new PvP arena, built after the PvP crisis a while ago, (Issue 5) presumably medieval-styled, as many Gameknight landmarks have presumably been, is extremely large and fun to play on.

The new PvP map consists of several buildings in a medieval like courtyard. It is huge and best played preferably at night for a better view. To the left is a snap of the new PvP. Today, we learn about the pvp arena that was just recently added to the survival server. It is a beautiful build that features amazing details, awesome terrain and sneaky hiding spots! The build has a castle/village theme to it, complete with a wheat farm, a watermill and an epic-looking fountain. The Gameknight999 players already love fighting to the death in this newly added arena. One of the many hiding spots is located in the back corner. It is a cave that is filled with spider webs and skeleton skulls. Be careful not to get caught in the cobwebs! The cave really will give you a creepy feeling right when you enter it, especially since there are no torches in it. The main blocks used to create the arena are oak wood planks, oak logs, bricks and cobblestone. It is also very well-lit at night. Congratulations to the builder/builders of this epic structure! It is already making the server a better place to spend time. To get to this amazing structure, simply type /warp pvp.

TheDragonsBane’s Monopoly Board

black for utilities. Q: What made you want to build this? A: I like monopoly. I have 12 versions in real life and its my favourite game. Q: Has anyone played this yet? Are you planning to open it to the public? A: Some people played while in the testing versions. Mainly ThaShadowXXX and FlareCares. I haven’t had the chance to open it officially yet. Q: When did you finish the build? A: I don’t know but I think it’s in January.

Q: What makes your build so special? A: I feel like no one has done it before, and I think its cool. Q: What tips do you have for other builders? A: I guess if you have building blocks, model after something you like in real life.

The Newspaper Corporation was set up by GabeChanHy in order to get the community involved in making the paper. However, it soon shut down due to the business of the owner and internal issues within the company.

In this issue you will find several articles written by the Corporation in its lifetime. The corporation consisted of secretaries ZForce24 and Hunter, writers HillBillyPoDunk and TNTKoren and Quebradita, the advertisement manager.

An epic on ZForce24 In light of his promotion to the staff rank, we would like to present him with this lovely text.

This was written by TNTKoren as part of the Newspaper Corps.

ZForce24 you might already know. You may have met him since he has been playing since the end of season 1, which was a long time ago. As you may know, ZForce recently got the trainee rank, which is the first staff rank. ZForce has had a long journey to get staff. Through his journey, he has shown great respect to the staff, and to the players. Personally, I have seen ZForce go out of his way to help other people. He is a great player and certainly a great person.

I asked ZForce if he wanted to be staff before he was told he was going to be staff. ZForce told me, “During season 2, I thought it would be cool, (to be staff) then I realized the more I tried to get it the less of a chance it was, so I decided to just play the game and do what I would normally (do)- help others out…” ZForce learned that if he tried to be fake, and be someone who he was not to impress someone, it would not work out. That quote from ZForce taught me to be myself, and to be kind. I think we could all learn a thing or two from ZForce.

Newspaper Warp

SirMeowington: Getting kicked from flying with an elytra. MegaWorldBuilder: The clearing items. Gabe: I would change the way stuff is built around GK. I hope to include the community more with maybe polls or even involving the community in building server landmarks. Garrettron: I would update to 1.14, bring back hardcore mode (they were working on it) and bring back survival games. Bluebombhawk: ClearLag doesn’t clear enchanted items or shulkers. Aidenantics: I would improve: n the new server, add jobs so people can get money And add the mcmo thing so people can level up in certain stuff like fishing and mining Also add auction and crates Add voting so people can get vote keys and other keys to other crates Add custom enchantment books plugins.

Hunter: If I could improve anything, I'd probably try to get the /onlinetime plugin and /rankup plugins to work again. I would also try to make an item shop system for most items instead of just 'important' ones. NOTE: These are real player opinions and are not scripted. Thank you for understanding. Jacobwr7: I would say the staff rules. Staff sometimes randomly appear and get in your way. Ceronis_C: I would improve the availability of certain resources. Spyrator1: I would improve player shops. It would stop people from cursing altogether,

I’m sure most of you would say that GK is a thriving, innovative and friendly community. For new players, it’s easy to fit in. Furthermore, staff members are put in place to ensure the best player experience.

A makeshift newspaper warp has been built but did not last long. Gabe and his team of talented builders are working on a new one.

You can expect to see many imprvements in the future. The new base is situated under the sea with a great view. Stay tuned to find out more!

Today you’ll be reading about the new Gameknight999 server museum! To get to the structure, type /warp museum and you’ll be there. Right when you arrive, you will find yourself on a large brightly lit path that has endrods placed in perfect positions to supply the light needed. The path is surrounded with custom tree’s that are within a hedge that rings the path. If you continue, you will find an epic looking fountain that is made of stone slabs and has a beautiful look to it. As you continue down the path, you will find yourself at the entrance of the museum. The structure is made from white mushroom blocks, white glass, quartz slabs and quartz stairs. When you enter, you will see a horse clad in diamond armor off to the right while a miniature jungle/swamp biome sits to the left. If you continue, you will find the children’s play area that has a slide, a bridge and chairs. Continuing through the build, you will find an area that has strange unidentified dragon eggs, each in its own little container. As you continue through the museum, you will find an experimental room, a wither cage and a food stand. The build itself was made by TemporalDialga9 and other people who helped him. I would like to thank the builders for making this incredible build! It really is fun to explore. We strongly encourage you to visit this build.
