hoto shoot for the poster We did this photo shoot on the day of filming as reported in my filming diary. The photos were taken by myself on a SLR camera and two or three were taken by Eleanor Wemyss on her phone. The shooting conditions were poor as the lighting was very bad quality. Here is a selection of the images that were taken along with a brief analysis. The best image from this shoot will be used for my poster.

Photo shoot for the poster:We did this photo shoot on the day of filming as reported in my filming diary. The photos were taken by myself on a SLR camera and two or three were taken by Eleanor Wemyss on her phone. The shooting conditions were poor as the lighting was very bad quality. Here is a

selection of the images that were taken along with a brief analysis. The best image from this

shoot will be used for my poster.

This photo is the best photograph I took in the landscape format. I may choose to use this image as an additional image to use on my magazine cover.

I like how the characters are turning to look at the camera (or the viewer) making a connection with the audience.

Page 3: G

This photo is exposed in the wrong places. The background is too dark and the colours look washed out. I also do not like how the coloured lights are visible.

Page 4: G

This image is well lit however it is slightly grainy. I have managed to capture the characters straight on however I would have preferred it if I had captured them in the centre of the frame with equal amounts of space above and below.

Page 5: G

This image is well lit in the background and less grainy than the before image. I like how the characters are dark as this adds to the genre of horror as it makes them look quite sinister. They look like they are braced for something bad to happen. I like how the characters are stood together but they look like they are not a group. There is a sense of division between the characters, this conveys plot ideas. I have captured the characters in the centre of the frame and I like the shadows they cast on the stage. I will use this image as my poster image.

Page 6: G

This image is well lit however it is out of line with the characters. I also do not like the way that they are looking in different directions.

Page 7: G

The lighting of this image is poor and the characters look out of proportion as I have photographed from a too low angle.

I do not like the composition of this image.

Amos ruined this photo by looking the wrong way.

This photo looks too casual. We took photos of these two characters as Eleanor Wemyss wanted them for her magazine cover. I took some photos as well just in case I wanted to use them too. I don’t think I will use them as they don’t look professional enough. I also do not have a purpose for these images and I do not think they have a real meaning or link to/convey our plot.
