We Make Choices



What lead the Three WiseMen to Jesus?

In what way can we lead

others to Jesus?



What did you feel

when you tried

leading otherpeople to Jesus?



There are times when

we find it difficult tolead others to Jesus.

Yet we need to make a

choice: to do what Godwants OR to do what

we want.



For example:

If you had P1,500 to give away,

who would you give it to?

a. your parents

b. those in need

c. yourself



If you could change any

of the following, whichwould you change?

a. your name

b. where you live

c. your hair or your eye color



If you could take a

vacation to any of thefollowing places, which

would you choose

a. China

b. Tagaytay

c. Canada



Are you happy with

your choices?

Was it hard to make

these choices?

Why or why not?



There are times in our life when we

need to make choices.

Sometimes these choices are not

easy to make especially when wewant to make a good choice

Many times, we really have to thinkand pray to make a good choice.



What does Jesus tellus about making

choices?

Matthew 5:38-39; 43-44;

6:14; 7:12

people?



Jesus teaches us that we

must make choices,and the choice that we

make should always be

for the good.



How do we call this?We call this freedom.

True freedom is to

choose what is good.



Jesus tells us what is goodin our CONSCIENCE.

C onscienceis the voice of God in our

heart that tells us what isgood and what is bad.



When we choose toact in a loving way, we

are following Jesus.



When we choose toact selfishly, we fall

into sin.



What is SIN?

-it is a wrong choice wemake that hurt God,

others and ourselves.



God gives us people to

help us make goodchoices and to help us

avoid sin.



our parents

our brothers and sisters

grandparents and other relatives

our Ninong and Ninang

our teachers our good friends

our Church leaders



__Forgive people.

__ Pray for everyone, even those who hurt you.

Say bad things to those who hurt you. ___ Treat people the way you want them to

treat you.

___

Hurt back to those who hurt you.

___ Say sorry to someone you have hurt.

Draw a happy face if the sentence is good

and a sad face if it is not.



We know it is not

always easy to make theright choice. But we can

ask Jesus to help us bypraying to Him



PRAYER

Lord Jesus,

We know it is not alwayseasy to choose

What is right and what istrue.



Thank you for guiding us to

make correct choices.

Please help us to follow

your teachings always.

Amen.
