COST EFFECTIVE CONTROL OF YOUR SOIL’S pH
Improves Yield | Easy Spread | Fast Reaction
Improve soil fertility and optimisecrop and grass performance
G-LIME granulated lime is a unique, fast acting soil conditioner, specially formulated to help manage soil pH, improving soil fertility whilst optimising crop and grass performance.
G-LIME will help to neutralise acidic soils and replenish the nutrients that rainfall reduces. It can be spread using a conventional fertiliser spreader, will act quickly and lower application rates.
Balancing AcidityThe effectiveness and speed of reaction of a liming material is quantified using a reactivity test.
The value of a liming product should be calculated on their cost per unit of NV and other factors such as speed of reactivity, effect of any impurities, evenness of spreading, fineness and hardness.
G-Lime Reactivity: 97.9% *
Method BS EN 13971:2008
* Independent laboratory tests 10th September 2012
G-Lime has a very high reactivity to assure performance.

In addition the use of G-Lime has increased over the past few years because:
• Spread up to 36 metres
on tramline systems
• Dust reduction is substantial
• Ideal for GPS assisted
application
• Can be spread in fields
without removing stock
• Convenient to use
• Is suitable for organic farming
• Safe to use. Non-toxic and non-hazardous
Fertiliser efficiency at different pH levelsG-Lime Benefits
• Immediate reaction in the soil
• Rapid pH adjustment
• Easy spreading with conventional spreaders
• Improved root growth
• Improves fertiliser performance
• Improves grass & tillage yield
• Spread at anytime of the year
• Apply on bare ground or on growing crops
• Low application rate
• Can be used to spot treat
What is G-Lime?
G-LIME granulated lime is a unique fast acting soil conditioner, specially formulated to help manage soil pH, improving soil fertility whilst optimising crop and grass performance. It is the only granulated lime produced in Ireland and is a registered trademark of Kilwaughter Chemical Co Ltd.
It provides farmers with a quick, easy, clean and convenient way of applying lime to grassland and crops, using a conventional spreader. G -Lime is made up of superfine (under 125 micron) lime, for faster reactivity in the soil.
G-Lime application rates will vary and are dependant on the type of soil, the current pH level, the crop, whether arable or grassand the time of year.
A soil analysis should be conducted to ascertain which application rate is appropriate. In general, arable crops need a higher application rate than grass.
Lime raises pH levels in soil bringing better utilisation of expensive fertiliser and slurry. It improves nutrient uptake by plants and grass and promotes healthy growth.

G-Lime is available in 600kg, 500kg
& 25kg bags.
