This is a law adopted by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration or OSHA and aligns with the Hazard Communication Standard. It was to protect you, the employer AND the worker, on workplace exposures and injuries.

The point was to adopt a GLOBALLY accepted standard for handling of all hazardous chemicals
