J.O.Y. Seniors Ministry June 16th, 11:00 a.m.
We will “tentatively” meet next month in the FLC din-ing room. Entertainment is being planned.
From Pastor Tim
One year ago, our church called Rev. Dave Tate to serve as
our Minister to Students. Dave has done a wonderful job in this capacity while at the same time fulfilling his teaching commitment at Spartanburg Christian Academy. Beginning this June, Dave comes on board full time to serve as an Associate Pastor and
Minister of Students.
In this new ministerial responsibility, brother Dave will assist me in pastoral duties and continue to work with our children and youth. He has the seminary training and previous ministry experi-ence which equips him fully for this work We have had the oppor-tunity during the previous year to see him at work on many levels in our church life. He has proven himself to be the man for the
job.
Let’s pray for brother Dave, Shannon, Max and Sam as they
enter this new phase of ministry life. I know the Lord has some
great things in store for them and for us!
