MUSIC MINISTRIES
CHILDREN AND YOUTH MINISTRIES
The youth are heading to mission camp! We are attending Team Effort's camp once again and traveling to Copperhill, TN the week of July 6th - 13th. During this week our youth will deepen and grow their faith in God through worship and through
serving the community. Please be in prayer for our 9 youth and 2 leaders throughout this week as we encounter God on the work site and in worship.
Thank you Bells, Flute, Chancel Choirs and Praise team for volunteering Sunday after Sunday, serving/participating/leading worship week after week, enriching our worship experience! We'll resume rehearsals mid August. Meanwhile, will you prayerfully consider recruiting or asking others to join in on our laugh filled, spirit moving, worship filled rehearsals? If God is calling or tugging your heart to join a ministry, won't you consider music ministry? Your willingness to serve and learn is all you need. If you have any questions or interest, please contact Keum [email protected] Thank you! Our worship is just not the same without your voices, talents and spirit!

FINANCIAL UPDATE
Financial Update – May 2019
____________________________________________________________________________
General Fund/Operating Update:
January Beginning Cash Balance: $ 54,168
Year-to-Date Results for 2019:
General Fund Receipts: $138,050
General Operating Expenses: ($159,208)
Net Operating Results: ($ 21,158)
May Ending Cash Balance: $ 33,010
Dear Congregation,
Through May, our operating net results of the deficit of $21,158 were about $5,000 below
budgeted results. We are slightly lower by about $15,000 on receipts compared to budget
year-to-date. However, our expenses have also been lower than anticipated by $9,807. Our
annual operating budget approved by the board has expenses of $410,000 for the year. In
addition to the general /operating fund, we continue to have significant dedicated account
funds. The interest from those funds currently held for investment or other dedicated
purposes is received into the general fund each month as part of the above shown receipts.
We appreciate your continued financial support of the monthly and annual operating needs of
this Church.
We are still actively recruiting members of the congregation to assist us with the weekly count
as volunteer tellers. Normally, each teller might serve a couple of months during a calendar
year to help count the offerings after service. If you are interested in serving, please let Kerri
know or discuss with me.
Peace in Christ,
Brett Thames
