Depending on the distance between the prefabrication yard and the Full Span Launching equipment is possible to install 3 spans a day, however being possible to assemble 1 span at every 4 hours.

The Full Span Launching Method FSLM equipment is used to install precast complete decks on top of the columns of the bridge and viaducts.
Additionaly it will be necessary to use transport Gantry Cranes to handle the full span decks till the FSLM machine.

    The Gantry Cranes/Straddle Carriers

    The gantry cranes/straddle carriers equiped with steel or rubber tire

    wheels are used at the precast yard to handle the precast full span decks

    and load them to the special transporters.

    Main features

    Capacity: 900 ton x 2 Lifting speed when loaded: 0 - 2m/

    min Max. admissible slope: 2%

    Special vehicles

    The special vehicles are equiped with rubber tire wheels, with capacity to carry

    heavy loads over rought terrain.

    The wheels can turn 90 degreed.

    Main features

    Load capacity: 80 a 1800 ton Minimum turning radius: 24m Speed when loaded: 5 Km/h

    Speed when unloaded: 10 Km/h Admissible longitudinal slope: 5% Admissible transversal slope: 4%
