Fuel For Truth (FFT) strengthens Israel’s image by

equipping young social leaders with the basic facts about the

Middle East and the skills necessary to advocate in any

environment.

Page 3: Fuel for truth 2015 2 c

Since our founding in 2001, our mission has been to empower

young Jews to be the best ambassadors for our ancestral homeland and ensure public

opinion remains positive far into the future while strengthening

Jewish identity.

The Problem

Page 5: Fuel for truth 2015 2 c

• Coordinated propaganda campaigns to delegitimize Israel on the world stage and anti-Semitism on college campuses are escalating dramatically.

•Young Jewish Americans continue to disengage from the larger Jewish community and remain elusive to traditional approaches of engagement from established Jewish organizations

• 50% of American Jews under the age of 35 that feel Israel’s destruction would not be a personal tragedy to them*

“The Jewish people are at a critical juncture. Our community is shrinking, and it will continue to do so

unless we rethink our strategies of engagement.

It is time to implement a vision of American Jewish renaissance that engages the majority of secular,

unaffiliated American Jews who are currently ignored by Jewish institutions. "

– Michael Steinhardt, American Jewish Demographics: Decline and Response, 2003

Think we are better off today?

How We Are Different

Page 8: Fuel for truth 2015 2 c

FFT presents the truth about Israel and Jewish history in a language young adults can relate to.

Page 9: Fuel for truth 2015 2 c

We are uniquely equipped to reach young adults because we are the demographic

to which we are reaching

Page 10: Fuel for truth 2015 2 c

To engage young adults these days,

The messenger is more important than the message

Honestly...who do you think young adults would rather talk to?

Advocacy Training "Boot Camp"

• "Boot Camp" is our flagship program that invests highly in future advocates and leaders of the

community

• Our intensive 10-week program carefully interviews and selects 25 young adults from our

social-educational events and vast social network

• Each training session is 2 hours: 1st hour - educational content led by Middle East

experts 2nd hour - our unique "live fire” simulation advocacy training; everyone stands up and

practices defending

Page 13: Fuel for truth 2015 2 c

Run by existing FFT members, we educate participants on the history of Israel, Judaism, current events and the

practical skills needed to advocate to their peers

Measurable Results

Working alongside world-renowned pollster Dr. Frank Luntz, we crafted a survey to measure the impact, value

and efficacy of our 10-week training program.

Upon completion of the 10-week training program, each member completes a 48 question survey.

Here are just a few of the results.

Over the past 14 years, with little budget and all almost all

volunteers, we have found a way to reach

and motivate young, unaffiliated, American Jews...

And they stay motivated for life.

The Solution

Fuel For Truth needs to be here

Page 26: Fuel for truth 2015 2 c

With a modest budget, we can combat the growing BDS movement by training

thousands of young adults a year and standing confidently and proudly as

Jews.

The question is...what do you really mean when you say "Never

Again"?
