FROM THE GOODMANS Mission Aviation Fellowship ⚫ P.O. Box 47 ⚫ Nampa, ID 83653 800-359-7623 ⚫ [email protected] ⚫ maf.org/goodman 2019 Dear Friends and Family: Merry Christmas to you! What a joy to celebrate Christ’s birth and to remember that He came to this broken world to be our Savior! The year has flown by quickly! Here’s a quick recap of our 2019: Winter: Chilly Nampa weather kept us close to home! Craig was busy at MAF and Ruth was busy as wedding planner! Spring: March bridal shower, April Easter pageant and piano recital for Ruth’s students, plus final wedding plans! The wedding of Julianne and Joshua on May 11 was lovely and below are a few more photos! Summer: In June we drove almost 4,000 miles to the Southwest, vising friends, supporters, and family, and celebrang our 23rd anniversary. A great trip with lots of good visits! In August we resumed teaching Sunday School and Julianne turned 22. Now in her senior year at college, she’s in two choirs, working part-me, and doing an internship for her major, graphic design. Fall: Ruth had gallbladder surgery in September, and in early October we traveled to Glacier Naonal Park in Montana for much needed R & R. Ruth is now back to guest teaching, music lessons, and accompanying for local school choirs. In November we enjoyed Julianne’s choir concerts and Thanksgiving. We look forward to celebrang the Christmas season together with friends, and then a brief trip to Arizona to visit Ruth’s folks. The Lord has been gracious and kind to us! We are thankful for the many friends who are such a blessing to us! Thank you for your partnership with us in our MAF ministry! You enrich our lives with your words of encouragement, and we are so blessed by your support through prayer and generous giving, making MAF’s work possible. We pray that you will be richly blessed this Christmas season as you celebrate with friends and family, and rejoice in God’s wonderful giſt of His Son, Jesus Christ, Who came to redeem us and give us hope for this life and the life to come! “Therefore, God exalted Him to the highest place, and gave Him the name that is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.” (Philippians 2:9-11)
