From St. Nicholas to Santa

The story of St. Nicholas

St. Nicholas lived in the 4th century

in a city called Myra, what’s now

Turkey.

He was very young when he became a

bishop. People loved him, because he

always helped those in need.

Bari, in Italy.

Why is he loved more than other saints?

The story about three maidens shows him as a protector of those in need.

If we peel off rich Santa’s garments we will see that he still is a saint, Nicholas from Myra. He loves and protects children. He brings magic to our homes. But, he should more often remind us of the most important message:
