It was a remarkable gathering, both in terms of the local and regional organizations represented and the large turnout of town residents. Outstanding job, well-organized and orchestrated, especially given the relatively short planning cycle! Mark Hertsgaard’s talk was also very good – great choice, George. I’m continually impressed by the level of interest and commitment among town officials, staff and residents in environmental and sustainability issues, and proud that UConn is part of such a green community.
