Please join us for a Miscellaneous Call Shower Honoring Katie Lauren Howell, Bride elect of Justin Horne, on Sunday, October 14, 2018 in Burch Hall from 1:30pm-2:30pm. Couple is registered at Belk, Walmart and Bella Rue. SUNDAY IS THE DEADLINE to sign up for the Winter One-Day Trip to Jacksonville Florida on December 27 th . THE COST IS $50 plus your shopping and supper at the mall. DEADLINE TO SIGN UP IS OCTOBER 7 th ! A $25 non-refundable deposit is due October 28 th . THIS SUNDAY MORNING go to the Gym for breakfast and then we will stay around and help break down the tables and chairs. That will be our service project for Sunday and we will not have our regular Sunday school classes. Looking Ahead… WE will NOT have WNL on October 17 th because of Fall Break for Fitzgerald Schools. This Sunday the choir will sing a Call to Worship (Risen Indeed) and special music (We Are Surrounded) and the orchestra and handbells will play with the hymns. I have heard so many compliments on our Orchestra selections this past Sunday.. You Sounded Great! Our NEXT choir practice will be on October 21 st .. NOT the 14 th since the music ministry will be hosting a shower the afternoon of the 14 th . HANDBELLS will rehearse and play SOON! Check your text for details. B. Jay, a founding member of First Baptist Church, by Gene and Lydia Mason. D. B. Jay is the great grandfather of Lydia Mason. We are partnering with our Baptist friends who are offering relief in these weather torn regions. Just mark you giving “Hurricane Relief”. Sanctuary Flowers

The flowers in the sanctuary on October 7 are dedicated to the glory of God

and placed in memory of D. B. Jay, a founding member of First Baptist

Church, by Gene and Lydia Mason. D. B. Jay is the great grandfather of

Lydia Mason.

We have FILLED ONE position but are still in
