WP3 Objective

• to build students’ intercultural knowledge and sensitivity to cultural diversity through the introduction of Intercultural Passport virtual module into PC HEIs’ elective formal curriculum

Project Lifetime: 3 yr-project duration + 5 yrs

PC HEIs students have open and self-paced access to teaching materials and learning content in the fields of intercultural awareness and communication, and cultural diversity

• What is digital story? – intercultural and internationalization experience

• What are the requirements? – AVP 2-3 minutes duration, 1 submission per applicant, local language (needs subtitle in English)

• Impact (strength of storytelling)

• Editing (skillful/imaginative editing)

• Design (skillful AV design)

• Structure and Navigation (comprehensive org of content, prioritization of information and manner in which users navigate through the story)

• Judging by Experts

• Judges to consider: industry experts, young, vibrant, creative, gender balance

• Popularity votes (Special Award) – good strategy to massively disseminate the contest, but has no bearing with the judging of entries WP3

Qualifications of Recipients of Intercultural Passport virtual module

1.successful completion of self-paced MOOC entitled Intercultural Awareness and Cultural Diversity (IACD)

2.Assessment and validation of international and/or intercultural prior experiential learning evidenced by relevant digital stories created by the Intercultural Passport applicants.
