Dear Ms. Friedlander,

How are you enjoying Spain? I am having a great time teaching fourth grade Language Arts!

I am excited to tell you about a fun activity that I did with the fourth graders called “Student Self-Portrait.” The students wrote about all of their favorite things to do, and it helped me get to know them better. They even got to decorate their own work with their favorite colors, and then they shared them with the class.

I will let you know other great things that happen in the classroom this year, and I look forward to hearing from you. Write back soon!

Sincerely,

Ms. Bridgeland
