The Pittsburgh Cricket Associa-tion was formed in 2004 as a 501(c)(3) public sports charity or-ganization to further the sport of cricket in Pittsburgh and sur-rounding areas. The specific purposes for which this corpo-ration is organized are: To pro-mote, encourage, foster and cultivate interest in the sport of cricket; To initiate, sponsor, promote and carry out plans, policies and activities that would further the development and advancement of cricket in Pittsburgh and North Eastern PA; To develop, foster and train amateur athletes for representa-tion in state, national and inter-national cricket competitions; to promote building of facilities for other non-traditional sports like badminton, table tennis and rugby. Currently there are 17 active teams and more than 300 mem-bers.

Every weekend MAY thru SEPTEM-BER with various tournament for-mats.
Build a full service facil-ity with cricket fields, club house and restaurant that also offers a place to promote non-traditional sports like badminton, table tennis and carrom
Improve the fields being rented currently with better pitches, lights for day and night games and a pavilion for spectators and players.
Conduct youth camps.
Host inter state competi-tions and invite clubs from other countries to promote local tourism and business.
