Sacrament Information Baptism - Baptisms can be held during any weekend Mass or after Vigil Mass or 10AM Mass. Preparation Classes will be held on: April 8 and June 10, beginning at 2pm — contact Cheryl Hall, Director of Faith Formation to register. Confirmation - 8th Grade will receive the Sacrament May 3, 2018 at St. Peter, Brownsville. If you are an adult that has not received this Sacrament of Initiation, contact the Faith Formation Office…...it is never too late. Eucharist - Communion calls to the sick and homebound and those in nursing homes are made regularly. If you know of someone in need, please contact Fr. Tony at 724-736-4442 or [email protected]. Marriage - Contact the Parish Office to schedule date and preparation at least nine months in advance. If you are already married and would like to have your marriage blessed (validated), contact Fr. Lenten Novena

God, for our sake You willed that Your Son should undergo the torments of the Cross so that You might drive far from us the power of

the enemy. Grant us, Your servants, that we may attain to the grace of His Resurrection.

Please remember in your prayers all whose who are suffering and in need of healing. May God bring peace and healing of mind, soul and

body to all those in need of His mercy. Also, remember in your prayers all those who have died and their grieving families. May God grant

them the fullness of life and love in Heaven.

Should you or someone you know be in need of pastoral care, please

direct the family to contact Fr. Tony in the Parish Office. If you would like

to join our prayer team or to add someone to our prayer list contact our

Prayer Team Leaders.

We will be cleaning the Church for Easter on Sunday, March 18 beginning at 11:30am. All helping hands are

encouraged to come out and help out.

Tenebrae Service

Palm Sunday March 25 7:30 PM

The service of Tenebrae, meaning “darkness” or “shadows,” is a prolonged meditation on Christ’s

suffering.

Readings trace the story of Christ’s passion, music portrays his Journey, and the power of silence and darkness suggests the

drama of this momentous day. As lights are extinguished, we pon-der the depth of Christ’s suffering and death; and through the

return of the small but persistent flame of the Christ candle at the conclusion of the service, we anticipate the joy of ultimate victory.

PURSE BASH Sunday, May 6, 2018 1pm to 4pm

Wear a Kentucky Derby Hat & be entered into a drawing for a prize. Drawings starts at 1pm All prizes will be awarded

Taco Bar and more, Dessert and Soft Drinks included. Cash Bar Tickets $25/person 2 numbers per ticket

We will be decorating the Church for Easter after the Good Friday Service. All are welcome to join us.

On April 7/8 Bethlehem Christian Families will be here selling items made of olive wood which is

native to the Holy Land.

Next weekend, a special 2nd Collection will be taken up to assist with Disaster Relief to those affected by the recent tornado to strike the Uniontown area. We thank you in
