Updates to Drop off and Collection procedures
After careful consideration and consultation, we are making the following changes to the drop off and collection procedures:
1. All KS2 children (Y3 to Y6) to be dropped off at gates unless the parent is dropping off other siblings in FS & KS1. With the field gate currently closed, children will be able to access field classrooms (Paddington, Drax, Smeaton, Upton and Cudworth) through the KS2 playground door between 8:30 and 9:00. Staff will be present on access doors to sanitise hands. We have plans in place to have an additional pathway at the back for the school for classroom access. Also, we are in the process of obtaining and installing footpath mesh around the perimeter of the field. Please bear with us as this takes place over the next few weeks.
2. Only 1 adult per family on school site during drop off and collection times.
3. No verbal communication to take place with staff during drop off and collection times. All general enquires please contact the Welcome Desk and for teaching and learning enquires please contact the class teacher through email or request a telephone call. This is extremely important as the virus level rises in the country and we appreciate your support on this matter. We know the local roadworks are causing considerable disruption; please ensure that you give additional time for your journey to school.

Homework
We need your help!
With most children missing some parts of last year due to Covid-19 lockdown, we have some gaps to fill with curriculum content from last year. We need your support by using the DoodleSpell and DoodleMaths programs. These are designed to address gaps in learning and consolidate learning going on in the classroom. Please support your child by keeping in the green in the Doodle programs. We are noticing huge improvements with the children that are using the programs consistently. Please see https://anlabyacreheads.org.uk/homework-4/ for further information.
