One of the university's most extensive community outreach programs Tradition for over 40 years Travels to more than 30 schools and over 16,000 children in a single season Finances and Support Primary support comes from the institution Schools pay a nominal fee to help cover production and travel costs Scholarship Endowment - Annual Scholarship awarded to a theatre major who has made the most outstanding contribution to the TFYA program during the previous year Department Support Tour considered regular part of the production season (including both faculty and majors) University Theatre box office handles all of the bookings Production staff supervises and/or provides technical support in all design areas Per diems for student performers/crew members on performance days Company/Stage Manager paid student assistant
