Tips For Promoting Your Event
Recognize that Twitter, at its core is a social media. Be sociable in your tweets. Check for replies and private
messages in your Twitter account.
Think outside your own event follower pool.
Twitter only works if your audience uses it. Include Twitter in your live event experience if you have
enough audience participation in the media.
Additionally, use Twitter to send special announcements. The event itself can tweet hot sessions, specials, drawing
winners and create its own buzz.
