OPENING OF ACCOUNTS

To know the information regarding a loan account, in respect of OD/CC accounts use the option – CCODBAL and in respect of Term Loans –LLIR.

2 In case of Housing Loan account where one year repayment holiday is given,

Verify the flow ID. It might have given as charge demand instead of DISBT.

the system debited full amount available in SB account before one year.

3 In some cases it is observed that the system calculated demand only from the date of Migration. Why?

Past dues are not reflected in the overdue position shown by ACM and LAOPI menus.

4 User unable to open a staff loan account by giving a message-a non employee can not open. Why?

Under CUMM menu, modify in customer ID.The field pertaining to customer employee may be wrongly given as “N” instead of “Y”. It has to be changed to “Y”. Then verify the same.

5 User wanted to open a term loan account transferred from another branch. How?

Before opening of a term loan, the customer ID of the staff / borrower must be created through menu option HCUMM/CUMM. In case, the customer ID is already created the same may be used for opening the account. The account is to be opened through menu option OAAC/HOAACLA. The appropriate scheme code may be assigned while opening the account.

6 User unable to open the LMV account by giving the message-Principal amount is not equal to installments. Why?

Check the flow amount given in the repayment details.

7 User not able to open a CC (M) account by giving the message-Sanction limit exceeds the maximum allowed limit. Why?

Open the account by OACC menu by specifying the scheme details correctly.

8 User wanted to open a housing loan with floating rate of interest. How?

User has to open the account under OACC menu option and give the interest table as HLFL5.(Current version)

9 User is unable to open a MV 841 scheme by giving the message-Total of principal amount should be less than or equal to sanctioned limit. Why?

Specify in ACM menu-E option, repayment details correctly while opening the account.

User to mention the drawing power and sanctioned limit for the account by invoking ACLHM/HACLNM menu.

11 User unable to enter E details for a festival loan, by giving the message-Total principal amount should be less than sanctioned limit. Why?

User mentioned less sanctioned limit. First it should be corrected and then enter E details.

12 For a LTD account, while posting transaction, message appears as Scheme update failed, no sufficient balance. Why?

User to give the drawing power for the LTD account and then post the transaction in TM menu option.

13 User unable to verify LTD account, by giving the message- Limit details should be visited. Why?

Verify the account by using OAACAU by visiting relevant fields.

14 User unable to open a LTD account, message appears that document maintenance not entered. Why?

User to enter the document maintenance field by using OAAC menu option.

15 User wanted to give joint holder name for an account. How?

User has to give the mode of operation as Joint in scheme details in ACM menu and also give in the related party (A) details.

CLOSING OF ACCOUNTS

1 How to take list of closed loan accounts?

List of closed loan accounts can be obtained by invoking menu option ACS by specifying scheme code and close date-low & close date-high.

2 Branch is unable to close Loan account for the reason “up to date interest has not been calculated” even though up to date interest is calculated. Why?

Please cancel the close option through CAACAU menu option and restart the closing process through CAAC menu option by selecting sub option C for interest calculation. All closing activities should be done through CAAC option including calculation of interest and posting. Authorize the closing through CAACAU menu option.

3 User unable to close the account by giving the message-“Authorization is pending”.

Certain modifications done might not have been verified. Verify the modification done in ALM/ACM menu option, and then close the account by using CAAC menu option.

4 User is unable to close the account by giving the message-“Balance is not equal to repayment account”.

This problem should be rectified at backend hence it should be referred to helpdesk/DIT.

5 User wanted to close the loan account and wanted to collect charges by cash.

Collect charges manually in TM menu option and close the account by using CAAC option.

6 User unable to close the account by giving the message-“Ensure shadow Balance zero”.

User has to ensure that once shadow balance should be cleared then run ACINT and then close the account by using CAAC menu option. (Shadow balance is shown in respect of Clearing credits)

7 User is unable to close the LTD account by giving the message –“Interest rate table not available”.

User might not have specified the interest rate table (ZERO2 table is to be attached and account level debit preference rate is to be entered). User to modify in INTTM menu and then give preferential interest debit at the applicable rate and the same is to be verified and close the account.

8 User has closed the loan account inadvertently. How to rectify it?

User has to open new loan account with backdated.

9 User was not able to close a loan account by giving the message-“TDS record exists”.

User to modify the TDS slab as zero and the same is to be verified and close the account.

10 User closed the account yesterday but not verified. Today the system is not allowing to verify the account.

User has to cancel the closure by using CAACAU menu option and close the account again and verify the same.

DD PaymentIn Finacle

For DD payment in transfer and cash mode,Select Menu option `TM`.Select DD account in a/c id. Instrument type Should be DD and DD serial Number should be entered in 2nd Field. Go for additional details. The system populates all the particulars of the DD.DD Payment in clearing.DD is paid in ICTM. And the Account should be DD account. The instrument No should be DD serial No. On pressing F4 the system displays a list of duplicate records. The relevant duplicate record should be selected

8 Payment of Non finacle DD by a Finacle Branch

The non finacle DD will be paid with a message `Improper advice` if the advice is not received. After receiving the advice the same should be entered in DDADV.

1.Do enter in DDLOST Before issuing Duplicate DD in DDD.

1 While doing CSOLOP getting message general ABH checks failed

Instruct user to keep the ilink open and then logout and then login again to go for ABH.

2 User was not able to do CSOLOP, though ABH went through fully.

Normally, some transaction might have been created during ABH. Hence, post the transaction and continue CSOLOP.

3 While doing ABH error - link connect failed.

The system should have Ilink web on and should be connected to printer while doing day end.

4 While doing ABH, system was giving an error Clearing zone not closed.

Verify which of the clearing zones is not closed.

5 User was unable to do CSOLOP – error - some unposted transaction pending.

Some TM Transactions may be in entered status. Invoke FTI menu and get such transactions. Post the transactions and then to go for ABH and CSOLOP.

6 User was not able to do ABH.

Maybe MCP for GBM not done. Do MCP first & then to do ABH.

7 User was getting message ABH failed, MICR inward clrg zone is open.

Close the inward clearing zone and then go for ABH.
