Number of participants15 participants driving in Belfort/Montbeliard city both in urban and highway environments

Piloting of questionnairesData are automatically stored and analyzed to check that all RQs can be answered

Latency was evaluated using two techniques, parallel eCall (13.46s) and sequential eCall (6s)

Feedback, issues and solutionsLatency is neither sensitive to the vehicle speed, nor to the distance between the vehicle and the server location

Other minor issues have been solved, e.g., alerts displyed on the map, all ND have the same serial number, ND assignments, …

RQ-EC2: Is user acceptance influenced by perceived trust in device/function?

RQ-EC3: Is there a change in users’ acceptance over time?

Other RQs such as, drivers age, experience, and gender may have influence on using e-Call function
