The French program at King’s prepares students for exchanging opinions and communicating freely in a globalized world. Students who graduate from the French program at King’s with a qualifying average are offered guaranteed admission to Western’s Faculty of Education. THE FRENCH PROGRAM IS FOR STUDENTS WHO: � Want to expand their knowledge of language and culture in French

� Are interested in perfecting their communication skills while developing critical and analytical abilities

� Want to learn from experience with an immersion or an exchange program in a French or Francophone area

� Wish to closely engage with peers and professors in small classrooms and motivating courses

ABOUT THE PROGRAM

The French Language and Literature Program at King’s is designed to foster an appreciation of the various literatures and cultures of la Francophonie as well as to develop a variety of skills that will serve you well in the future. We offer a range of language and literature courses to help you hone your language, communication, and research skills.

Our small classes provide an excellent opportunity for you to interact with your classmates and your professors.

CAREER OVERVIEW I work for a language solutions company where I am responsible for writing RFPs, account management, and working on strategic alliances. I also do freelance translation, which I started doing while living in France for a year. Since coming back to Canada, I have continued to build my client base, and I do some freelance work through MCIS Language Solutions.
