Audition excerpts may be performed in any order you prefer. You may be asked to perform sight-reading excerpts, both melodic and rhythmic. You may also be asked to demonstrate various different basic techniques germane to your instrument, which may include knowledge of major and minor scales and/or bowing/tonguing techniques. Please bring solo repertoire with you, although note that due to time constraints, you may not be asked to perform your solo repertoire in your audition.
