1. INTRODUCTIONThe present Working Paper gives a report on :
the availability of data OPMET received as well as on the BCCs of Dakar, Niamey, Brazzaville, Antananarivo and on RODB of Dakar on 2017.

7. Main causes Instability of links (AFTN and GTS) due to the problem of equipment; AMBEX Handbook not yet applied by some centers; Problem of coordination with non-ASECNA centers because the
responsible of OPMET Data for Tamale (DGLE), Kumasi (DGSI),Takoradi (DGTK), Akure (DNAK), Kaduna (DNKA), Katsina (DNKT),Imo/Sam (DNIM), Jos (DNSO), Yola (DNYO) DNIL and others, isunknown but their data have not received by BCC of NIM;
The same problem for MET data of Kisangani (FZIC), Mbuji-Mayi(FZWA), Goma (FZNA) with BCC of BZV and for Diego Garcia(FJDG), Rodrigues (FIMR) with BCC of TNR;
No answer for our different requests to the centers mentioned above; Omission of validation and routing of certain OPMET data produced
by some centers; Not respect the responsibilities given to each center (CNM,BCC,…); Political Events (Bangui, Tripoli, Maiduguri,...); Others...

8. Corrective measures Make an operational and technical focal point list on OPMET
transmitter per center; Sensitize each center to ensure its national responsibility,
regional and international at transmission of OPMET Data and to respect the disposition of AMBEX: Each CMN sends their OPMET data to the BCC; Each BCC compiles these Data from CMN attached it ; Each BCC sends the data compiled to RODB and other BCCs; Each BCC sends these data compiled by itself and received by
the other BCCs to the CMNs attached to it; Educate operators to verify and ensure the transmission of
data OPMET produced; Each reception center analyzes results and claims missing
data.

9.CONCLUSIONThe meeting is invited to: note the above information related to the
OPMET data; Reinforce co-operation between COM
Centers in technical and operational domain to improve the availability of OPMET data;
