FREEMAN SCHOLARS ASIA ABROAD PROGRAM Fall 2012 - Spring 2013 The Freeman Foundation was established in 1994 through the bequest and in memory of the businessman and benefactor Mansfield Freeman, a co-founder of AIG. e foundation is dedicated to strenthening the bonds of friendship between the U.S. and the countries of the Far East. e Shidler College of Business is grateful to have the Freeman Foundation as a partner in offering travel scholarships to deserving undergraduate students interested in studying abroad in Asia. e College will award 20 Freeman travel scholarships of $5,000 each for the 2012 - 2013 academic year.
