A big thank you to our co-chairs, Rita Cober- ley & Pay Persons, MC Russ Schmidt, Chef Sherman Rob- erts, his wife Maggie, our Ladies, and the many volunteers who helped. Congratulaons to the new Queen, “Untouchable” (our Worthy President). FEBRUARY 15 TH - VALENTINE DINNER/DANCE. The menu is steak, salad, potatoes and dessert. Music will be by Kalani Pieper (Don Ho’s cousin). Tickets are $15 each and can be purchased in the Auxiliary Secretary office or officer. The charity is Habitat for Humanity. If you would like to donate an item for the raffle baskets it would be appreciated! Please drop off in the Auxiliary Secretary office or in the basket near the front door. Also if you can help sell raffle basket ckets here is a sign-up sheet on the bullen board. Thanks in advance for your help! SAVE THE DATE: March 21 st is the Fashion Show/lunch. Clothes will be from Anthony’s Ladies Apparel. If you have- n’t been a model in a previous show and would like to for this one, please send an email to [email protected]. More details regarding this event will be posted later this month. FEBRUARY EVENTS: The 1 st at noon is the next Auxiliary ini- aon. Friday the 21 st is the Auxiliary Fish Fry (sign-up sheet on bullen board). Our Auxiliary meengs are on the 12 th and 26th at 7 PM. Please volunteer! We need your help! Ellen Wiebe Madam President Lake County 4273 Auxiliary February has arrived. We need to make an adjustment for our meetings this month due to the Eagles Cruise which leaves on the 2/22/20 . Our first meeting will be on the 2nd Wednesday (2/12/20) of the month and the 2nd meeting will be on (2/19/20) the 3rd Wednesday, since many of our officers and members will be away on vacation. Our yearly dues will be coming up soon so be ready to take care of it. The Aerie is given a timeline to get that done. You may go online and print that application. Please help our secretaries as it is one of the most im- portant part of their job. If you do not have an E-mail address please pick up our newsletter at the front door. If you get the E-mail thank you. As you find yourself in the deep winter here in Lake County, let's give thanks to the glory, and beauty we live in.Central Florida which gives us the ability to travel to either coast within an hour if we choose. The City of Leesburg, gives us the ability to be in touch with local government within 5 miles of our home. The Villages which is the fastest growing city in Ameri- ca gives us the ability to go to any national eatery, mu- sic and entertainment venue with less than an hour drive.... Orlando and Walt Disney and theme parks are within an hour drive. Health care facilities are growing as fast as the Villag- es all around us giving us more choices for care. This weather has made our lives able to enjoy the sports we love outdoors, someone has made our lives a priority by giving us this here in Central Florida. My prayers get answered Lake County Eagles gives you a bond with many differ- ent friends from all over the world not just Florida. Thank you for being a part of the our Aerie.
