Have your childlocate a variety ofobjects. Get yourchild to sort theobjects into theirgroups e.g. lego,horses and pencils.Have your childcount how many isin each group. Askthem if they canmake each groupthe same as theother. E.g. I had 7Lego pieces, 5horses and 10pencils. I makeeach group have 5and get rid of theleft overs.
