Farmer’s Market at St. Michael

Our Fruit of the Holy Spirit at our second night was peace. Our children learned how to stomp out their fears by trusting in God. Each session we talk about the importance of becoming more like Jesus so we can grow stronger in our fruits of the Holy Spirit - and how we can do this every day.

Our group keeps growing bigger and all students in grade 3 & 4 are still welcome to join us for games, skits, crafts and amazing home made treats Tuesday nights at 6:30 in the St. Michael meeting room.

Remaining dates: October 30, November6, 13 & 20

Youth Group at Sacred Heart

On our first night, students in grade 5, 6 & 7 fo-cused on how we are all the Body of Christ. Each one of us is uniquely and wonderfully made so it is important that we include everyone in all our activities, games and discussions. We remember that everyone is of equal importance and what they say has value. When we learn about each other, we see what we have in common as well as how we are different. Since we are all the Body of Christ, everyone was challenged to see Christ’s presence in the people in their lives this week.

Remaining dates: October 29, November 5, 12, 19 and 26 at 7:00-8:30. Don’t miss out on the fun on Mondays at Sacred Heart.

them: their family, home, land and roots. The life that had taken them years to build no longer exists. They have nothing left, except perhaps the hope of being welcomed, listened to and supported. It’s up to us to take the first step, to open our hearts to them, and to culti-vate the hope that dwells within them.

Catholics around the world are urged to reach out to our brothers and sisters who have been forced to leave their homes. Please sign the Development and Peace postcards which have been placed in your pew this week. We ask that after you sign them, just leave them in your pew so that they can be counted and then sent on to Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.

School Memorial Services

This week we have parish led memorial services with all of our schools. Please see This Week’s Events at a Glance (to the right) for times and locations if you wish to join us.
