Monday, March 19

Chrism Mass at Cathedral of St. Helena

5:30 pm

The Chrism Mass (also known as the Mass of the Oils), is the liturgy at which the Bishop blesses the holy

oils to be used in the celebration of the Sacraments throughout the coming year, and is a celebration of the

SHARED MINISTRY of all in the Diocese.

THE CHRISM MASS MANIFESTS OUR UNITY IN THE MINISTRY OF CHRIST.

While our diocese is made up of many different parishes with unique gifts and needs, we are in communion with one another:

We are ONE church; TOGETHER we are ONE BODY OF CHRIST united with our bishop in and through the ministry of our priests and deacons. Plan on attending this year!

An hour of Song and Prayer for Lent with
