• During my internship I was assigned to the Software

Development department and I was assigned to develop a

Website of “CRM”

• They already had a CRM software on their Intranet which

needed to be rebuilt to use their services on internet

What is CRM?

• manages company’s interaction with current and

future customers.

• involves technology to organize, automate, and

synchronize sales, marketing, customer service, and technical

support.

• Helps to learn more about customers' needs and behaviors

Why CRM?

• customer-oriented feature

• one-to-one solutions to customers' requirements,

• direct online communications with customer

• customer service centres

Needs of CRM ?

• customize their offerings to suit the individual tastes of their

customers.

• provide timely, accurate processing of customer orders and

requests and the ongoing management of customer

accounts.

Objectives of Internship

• To get exposed to functions, structures and operational

activities of an organization.

• To learn how various Software, tools and techniques that

are learned in college , are applied in an organization

• To contribute my effort to the organization

Assignment 1: Database

-Purpose: To understand their Software and develop the

database accordingly.

-My Role:

-To Study their Software, identify the important parameters and

build the database accordingly

-Technology Used: Sql Server 2008

-Purpose: To understand the concept of designing .

-My Role: I was involved in web design

-Lesson learned:

-Different aspect of designing like choosing a color and how

corporate color are used in designing.

-Technology Used: HTML,CSS,AJAX

-Purpose: To develop the Modules

-Customer Data

-Maintenance Contract

-My Role: Understanding the working, and developing these

modules accordingly

-Purpose: Connect the database and the Code

-My Role: Using code ensuring connectivity, and data enters

Conclusion

-The internship period of 45 days at MPCPL gave me an immense

opportunity to learn various skills and grasp the practical

working scenario in the organization.

-This internship not only provided me an opportunity to learn

from the practical field of Software Development but also helped

me to develop my ability to adapt to the requirements of today’s

Software World.

Conclusion

-I gained a very valuable experience during my internship. I really

appreciate the way MPCPL treated me as a valued member and

the appreciation it showed towards my actions.
